Among its objectives, the MacJannet Foundation aims to support the goals of an endowment made by Donald and Charlotte MacJannet to Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. This endowment provides scholarships for deserving Fletcher students from Europe, as well as support for the student exchange program between the Fletcher School and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, founded in 1967. These programs underpin opportunities for academic and cultural exchange involving the Fletcher School, one of the most highly respected graduate institutes of international studies. They thus corroborate the educational precepts fostered by the MacJannets stressing personal development, strengthened international understanding and the importance of global citizenship.
